Course Description: This seminar is a ghastly wicked ride through main genres and formats of fantasy literature for adolescents and young adults. Fantasy is explored as a literature of possibilities and empowerment. The focus is on eight principal genres and on the role of fantasy in nurturing moral imagination, creative thinking, and the human potential.
